Day use fee is $8.00 per car.
Picnic – Our large picnic grounds are located in the day use area under the oak trees. Most picnic sites have tables, benches and a barbeque grill.

Historic Tucker House Visitor Center – Our visitor center has displays, brochures, trail maps and gift items. Open weekends and busy week days.
Native American Plant Garden, Wappo People – Native American Plant Garden, Wappo People is a 3/4 acre easy trail located next to the Visitor Center. A “Guide to Plants and Their Uses” is available for sale. This is a site used to broaden the visitors understanding of the first people to inhabit this area. Many of these plants still are used today for ceremony, food, medicine, and technology, such as basket weaving.
Groups can picnic/barbeque at our large Ramada with picnic tables under shaded cover, a sink and an electric outlet. The Ramada is next to bathrooms and seasonal swimming pool (separate pool fee). The Ramada fee is $150.00 for 60 people. After 60 people, there will be an additional fee of $8.00 per car. Carpooling is encouraged. Call for reservations (707) 942-4575

White Church Cemetery – Near the day use/picnic area is the Pioneer Cemetery, resting-place of some of the original settlers of the Napa Valley. The cemetery is an interesting place to visit while on a day hike, and is currently under restoration to return it to its original, mid-1800’s condition.
Flora and Fauna – The park is home to raccoons, gray squirrels, deer, foxes, bobcats, and coyotes to name a few, but they are sometimes difficult to spot because of their nocturnal habits and the forest cover. Several species of birds can be easily detected though, including the six kinds of woodpecker that inhabit the park. The spectacular crow-sized Pileated Woodpecker is one of them. Occasionally, a Spotted Owl can be found, perched high in a redwood tree.
Nearby parks – Hike the History Trail over to the Bale Grist Mill, built in1846. Tours and milling demonstrations show the historic process of milling. Open week-ends 10:00 to 5:00. Freshly milled flours, cornmeal and polenta are available by donation. Separate fee. Or, visit Robert Louis Stevenson, an undeveloped park 12 miles to the north on Hwy 29. Take the 10-mile roundtrip hike to the 4,343 foot North Peak or hike the Palisades Trail (10 miles one way into Calistoga) passing below scenic volcanic cliffs. Views are spectacular. Open sunrise to sunset.
