Bothe-Napa Valley State Park is the perfect outdoor destination in Napa Valley. With activities such as hiking, swimming, picnicking, and camping, there's something for everyone. Explore the stunningly diverse landscape, including stands of coastal redwoods, tanoak, Douglas-fir, and madrone forests. There are over 10 miles of trails, from a leisurely stroll through Ritchey Canyon to the delicate ferns and splashing water of the Redwood Trail.  For the more adventurous take the challenging hike up to Coyote Peak for sweeping views of the forest. Cool off from the summer heat by taking a refreshing dip in the swimming pool, challenge your friends to a game of horseshoes, or take a leisurely stroll along the accessible Pioneer Cemetery interpretive trail.

Bothe Visitor Center

The Visitor Center's educational displays provide a fascinating glimpse into the park's cultural and natural history, while the Native American Garden provides a unique opportunity to learn about the Onasatis Mishewal Wappo culture and plant uses.

Bothe Pool Hours

Looking for the perfect way to beat the heat? The spring-fed swimming pool at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park is open every Saturday and Sunday through Labor Day from 1:00–5:00 PM. Pack a picnic, spend the day exploring the park's beautiful trails, then cool off with a refreshing swim. Lifeguards are on duty, making it a favorite summertime destination for families.

The park offers a variety of affordable overnight accommodations. These include traditional campsites, providing a classic camping experience, as well as first-come, first-serve walk-in campsites for spontaneous getaways. There's also a communal en-route campsite tailored for travelers on foot or bicycle. For those seeking a more comfortable stay, yurts offer a stylish and cozy glamping alternative. Additionally, newly restored cabins provide a homely atmosphere with the convenience of personal restrooms and kitchens. This park is part of the California State Parks system and is managed by Napa County Regional Park and Open Space District, with support from the Napa Valley State Parks Association.
