Junior Rangers

The Junior Rangers Program offers children a unique opportunity to explore the history and natural beauty of Bothe-Napa Valley State Park. Guided by park staff, participants embark on a short hike where they will learn about the park's native plants and animals. Following the hike, Junior Rangers will engage in a hands-on environmental science activity, deepening their understanding of the natural world. Upon completing the program, they will proudly earn their California State Parks Junior Ranger Badge for Bothe-Napa Valley State Park. While the program is specially designed for ages 7-12, children of all ages are welcome to join in the fun. Junior Rangers meet every Saturday at 10 AM in the campground at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
