Understanding Fire Resilience - Hike at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park

Come and learn about California State Parks’ efforts to keep our forests healthier and the surrounding community safer.

Since the Glass Fire of 2020, California State Parks, partnering with other agencies, has conducted fuel reduction efforts within Bothe-Napa Valley State Park. Come hear from a California State Parks Environmental Scientist as they discuss their role and careful use of fire and fuel management within state parks.

The route for this hike will be 2 miles or less with a moderate incline.

Where to start? To find the start location, check in at the entrance kiosk and you will be directed to the Visitor Center parking area and meeting location for the hike.
